Volaris Group Welcomes Artsystems
April 12, 2022
Volaris Group Inc., in conjunction with Gallery Systems, has acquired Artsystems, a worldwide leader in art management solutions for commercial art galleries, private and corporate collections, and artist foundations. Based in New York, NY, Artsystems currently has over 550 clients, including some of the world’s largest commercial galleries.
Artsystems was founded in 1989 by David Studstill, co-owner and current head of Development, who was joined in 1997 by co-owner Doug Milford. Their premier product is Artsystems A5, a cloud-based, SaaS offering with strong market adoption. Artsystems also offers website hosting and design and other services for its clients.
“We are delighted to work with the Artsystems team and continue to grow our footprint in the Arts and Culture space,” said Jay Hoffman, Founder of Gallery Systems and Group Leader at Volaris Group.
In accordance with Volaris’ philosophy, to acquire, strengthen, and grow, Artsystems will continue to run under the direction of its co-founders, while benefiting from the support, resources and best practices made available by Volaris and Gallery Systems.
“Through this merger, we not only will continue to be the responsive, trusted, and knowledgeable partner on which our clients rely, but will now have additional support from Gallery Systems and Volaris to accelerate innovation, improving and expanding our solutions, and increasing and broadening our company’s growth worldwide,” said Doug Milford, Director of Operations at Artsystems.
